Winter is a time of death, of going inward to rest, replenish, and renew. There is great beauty here - a time of dying to the old and preparing to transition into the new.
In the medicine wheel traditions of the native cultures, winter is represented in the North, with the color white and the blessings of sweetgrass. Sweetgrass is a medicine of hospitality and a celebration of home. With it, we welcome ourselves back home to the place within the heart. But with death there is sorrow, and when we mourn who we were - or who we hoped we’d be - there is an opportunity to channel that sorrow into deeper love, grace, and beauty.

Schedule of Workshops
Together we will explore pathways to cultivating sorrow, the art of expressing sacred rage, and the bounty of the place from which everything is born: the womb of the Mother. We will explore what it means to die to ourselves through death rituals, and will find ourselves reborn in the company of our sisters. Together, we will come back home to ourselves.
